MemoVigor2

MemoVigor2 is a tablet taken once a day. Its ingredients include Acetyl-L-Carnitine, various vitamins (Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E), amino acids (Glutamic Acid), herbal extracts (Myrtillo extract (bilberry), Ginkgo Leaf), minerals (Potassium, Magnesium, Selenium), and phospholipids (Phosphatidylethanolamine, Phosphatidylinositol, Phosphatidylcholine, Phosphatidylserine).

Claims:
The makers claim it contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system but do not specifically claim its use as a treatment for tinnitus, although such claims appear on other retail sites.

Downsides:
Potential side effects, allergic reactions, and drug interactions from the constituents, especially Ginkgo biloba. Magnesium and Acetyl-L-Carnitine may cause minor but unpleasant side effects. Vitamins B6, E, and potassium can be harmful in large doses. High doses or long-term use of selenium can lead to serious medical problems or death.
Cost: The tablets retail for around €23 for 20 tablets, excluding shipping and customs charges.

Research:
There has been one paper published on MemoVigor2 as a supplement, but it was not a fully independent study. Research on the effects of its component parts exists.

Research Findings:
Limited evidence suggests that Ginkgo biloba is not effective for tinnitus as a primary complaint and does not reduce its intensity or improve quality of life.

Limited evidence suggests that vitamin B12 and magnesium may help tinnitus in individuals deficient in these elements.

There is no evidence supporting the efficacy of other components of this supplement for treating tinnitus.
