Volunteer Opportunity: Web Chat and Phone Line Support for Tinnitus Help

Position: Web Chat and Phone Line Support Volunteer

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours

Role Description: As a Web Chat and Phone Line Support Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and reassurance to individuals seeking support for tinnitus-related concerns. Your responsibilities will include:

– Engage in web chat conversations with individuals seeking support for tinnitus.
– Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
– Provide empathy and understanding to those in need.
– Answer phone calls from individuals seeking guidance on tinnitus management.
– Offer accurate information about tinnitus, treatment options, coping strategies, and available resources.
– Direct individuals to relevant support groups, healthcare professionals, or additional resources as needed.

Qualifications:
– Compassionate and empathetic demeanour.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
– Basic knowledge of tinnitus and its impact on individuals (training will be provided).
– Comfortable using web chat platforms and answering phone calls.
– Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet environment for phone conversations.
