Coretexi

Coretexi is claimed to help maintain good hearing health and eliminate tinnitus and poor connection between the brain and the eardrum. It is available in two forms: ear drops and a liquid to be swallowed once or twice a day. The supplement purportedly contains Grapeseed extract, green tea leaf extract, annual cayenne, Chinese ginseng, astragalus, chromium picolate, maca root, and gymnema sylvestre.

Claims:
– Helps maintain good hearing health.
– Eliminates tinnitus and “poor connection between the brain and the eardrum”.

Downsides:
– Potential side effects from constituents.
– Cost: The supplement is priced at $69.00 for one month’s supply, excluding shipping.

Research:
No papers have been published specifically on Cortexi as a supplement, but research exists on its component parts, some of which relate to tinnitus.

Research Findings:
Limited evidence suggests that ginseng in doses of 3,000mg per day may reduce Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) scores.

There is no evidence supporting the efficacy of other components of this supplement for treating tinnitus. Additionally, chromium may interact negatively with other medications, and green tea extract can be harmful in large doses.
